Cervical screening

This program of work involves both qualitative and quantitative studies, which explore attitudes and understanding of reasoning for cancer screening changes, in particular focusing on the cervical screening program. Current projects include:

  1. Self-collection: to design decision support tools for under-screened women about undertaking self-collection as part of cervical screening – this fits under shared decision-making, equity and Implementation science and behavioural insights

  2. Exploring the acceptability of Active Surveillance as a management option for CIN2 - this fits under low value care/overdiagnosis, equity and implementation science and behavioural insights
