Our HL-Compass has just been launched!

The Sydney Health Literacy Lab has developed HL-Compass: Health Literacy Competency Assessment Finder. HL-Compass is a searchable database of measures designed to assess health professionals’ health literacy competencies - including knowledge, skills, practice, self-efficacy, and behavioural intentions.

Health professionals play a critical role in making healthcare easier to understand, access, and navigate. But assessing the skills, knowledge, and behaviours that underpin health literacy practice can be challenging—especially with so many tools scattered across the literature.

HL-Compass brings this evidence together in one place, providing a single, searchable resource to support researchers, educators, and health services in assessing and strengthening health literacy practice.
